What to Bring

Bedding

Sleeping bag or sheets and blankets (cabins are heated)
Pillow and pillow case

Clothing

We suggest students bring old but clean and comfortable clothing, weather appropriate. New clothing may look old when students return home. All items should be labeled with student's name.

One pair of PJs
2-3 pairs of comfortable shoes
Waterproof boots that can get muddy (warm in cold weather)
Flips-flops for shower (optional)
Daily change of socks and underwear
Heavy and light shirts
Warm jacket, fleece, or sweater
Raincoat or poncho (no umbrellas)
Hat (warm hat is a must in cold weather)
2-3 pairs of comfortable pants (please no dresses)
Gloves and scarf in cold weather

Toiletries

2 towels
Soap/Shampoo
Washcloth or pauff
Comb or brush
Toothbrush and toothpaste

 

 

 

 

Other Items

Flashlight
Disposable camera
Bug repellant (no aerosol cans)
Water bottle
Pens/pencils/paper
Small plastic laundry bag
Book/magazine/playing cards
Cabin leaders should bring an alarm clock

Axes, saws, knives
Matches
Firearms or archery equipment
Chewing gum, candy, food items
Electronic games
Radios or cd players
Jewelry or other valuables
Precious/irreplacable keepsakes
