Camp Mason's 110th season of summer camping is now underway!
This summer we will continue a long tradition of camping that began in 1900, when Clarence Robinson from the Trenton YMCA took a few campers down the Delaware River. The following year our camp was given a name, Camp Washington. A different name, but the conversations around the campfire were the same! Over the years Camp Mason has been know by several names, Camp Wilson, Central New Jersey Y Camps, and now YMCA Camp Ralph S. Mason. Often the choice was made to honor a benefactor that was instrumental in aiding the camp. Such is the case today, Ralph S. Mason was the key figure in the purchase and development of Camp Mason's present facility. Since 1958 Camp Mason has run summer programs for our community in beautiful Hardwick Township, in rural North Western New Jersey thanks to the effort of Mr. Mason. With the help of our many dedicated volunteers we hope to continue to run outdoor programs for our community’s youth for many years more.
