There are three groups of staff members who work at YMCA Camp Mason throughout the year. Our professional staff live and work here full-time, and include our executive director, department directors, and support personnel. The Mason Outdoor Center employs a group of 6-12 naturalists in the autumn, winter, and spring. These college-age young people deliver our programs to the families, groups, and schools who attend in the off-season. Our summer camp staff consists of about 85 program, support, and counseling staff members who deliver a traditional camp experience for 8 weeks in June, July, and August.

Every YMCA Camp Mason staff applicant undergoes a rigorous screening process, including interviews with their supervisor, personal and employment reference checks, and a nationwide criminal and sex offender background check. We hire people from all walks of life and all over the globe who are chosen for their integrity, energy, and community spirit - all of our staff members are passionate about fulfilling our mission!
