Welcome to YMCA Camp Mason

There’s a feeling you get when you visit our camp.  You’ll realize that you’ve entered a very special place.  A place where children can enjoy being active and can pursue their own interests in our outdoor paradise.  Our 650-acre site offers our visitors incredible opportunities for outdoor activities. A place where kids can be kids!

We are a community that values friendship and encourages each member to do their best.  A camp that’s big enough to offer a wide range of programs, yet small enough to ensure that every camper receives individual attention and is valued as a person. 

And the experience – paddling down the Delaware River… seeing the stars glimmering in the night sky… hiking on the Appalachian Trail… sitting with good friends ‘round a crackling campfire – our alumni tell us that these are some of their most-treasured memories.

Camp Mason offers a wide range of programs throughout the year.  Our property is adjacent to the 70,000-acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, one of the last true wilderness areas in the northeastern United States. This proximity affords us almost limitless opportunities for outdoor adventure.  We’re “near enough” (an easy drive from New York City and Philadelphia) and “far enough” – nestled in the hills of northwestern New Jersey.

Camp Mason's 2010 Annual Fund :: July 15, 2010

Charitable giving is the lifeblood of Camp Mason.  Contributions from members of our community help to offset the costs of our programs and operations.  These gifts also allow us to provide financial assistance (camperships) that allow deserving children to participate in our day camp and sleep-away camp pr

Camp Mason Launches a New Website! :: July 1, 2010

After seven years of faithful service Camp Mason has decided to redesign our website.  Seven years is a long time in the internet universe and although our old website had served us and our guests well, we felt it was time for a change.

Summer 2010 :: June 21, 2010

Camp Mason's 110th season of summer camping is now underway!

This summer we will continue a long tradition of camping that began in 1900, when Clarence Robinson from the Trenton YMCA took a few campers down the Delaware River.  The following year our camp was given a name, Camp Washington.
