For Campers
Summer camp is a place where you can try new things, make
good friends, and learn to live well in the world. All you need to do is show
up and try your best – you can’t fail summer camp. It’s the best place there is
to find new and amazing friendships, go on exciting adventures, and learn about
yourself, the people around you, and the world.
We know there are lots of things to do in the summertime,
and some of them are important – or unavoidable. Many of our campers spend part
of their summer participating in sports activities or traveling with their
families. Some need to make time for academic projects or helping out around
the house. At Camp Mason there are lots of busy campers who make time for a
session or two at camp because it’s important to them. The summer memories they
make here last all year long!
In addition to good friends and fun, Camp Mason offers a
wide variety of interesting activities to choose from. You can learn to be
better at the things you love, or try something completely new. Whether it’s
art, music, sports, aquatics, or outdoor activities, you’ll have the chance to
try as many or as few as you have time for, and at a pace you’re comfortable
with. Bike the trails, paint a picture, sing a song, make a touchdown, raft the
river, cook over a fire, or be in a skit – there are almost more things to do
than there is time to do them!
Camp Mason's sleep away camp is for kids finishing grades 2-9. Adventure Bound trips last a week in the wilderness, and
are for campers who have finished Grade 7-10. Ranch Camp is a western riding camp
for campers the same age who want to live and work with horses for two weeks.
Our Teen Leadership programs offer older campers the chance to learn what it
takes to be a counselor while helping to support the camp and local community.
There are choices and programs for every kid and every interest at Camp Mason –
and not just during the summer!
Our Family Camps let you bring your whole family to camp for
a weekend of fun and activity. Reunions and Family Days are scheduled throughout
the year to help you stay in touch with your summer friends. There are whole
families who come to camp two or three or more times each year – camp doesn’t
stop at the end of the summer!
So, if you’re looking for a chance to try something new, make
excellent friends from around the US and the world, and explore the outdoors…
if you’re looking for a place where you can be your ‘best self’ on any given
day… if you’re looking for a summer experience that’s more than practice or
academic… and if you’re interested in creating memories that last a lifetime,
join us at Camp Mason this summer. We know you’ll be glad you did!
