Adventure Bound
Camp Mason's Adventure Bound Treks are one-week wilderness experiences designed for small groups of teens who have completed grades 7-10. Although the treks are designed for any outdoor skill level, each trekker needs to have the willingness and enthusiasm to fully participate and contribute to the program. All treks are based out of Camp Mason and include such activities as biking, rock climbing, hiking, and canoeing.

Accompanied by our trained and experienced staff, Adventure Bound campers spend their time exploring the last great, true wilderness left in the Northeast - the 70,000-acre Delaware Water Gap. They'll spend time with other teens testing their skills, pushing their limits, and exploring exhilarating locations: canoeing the
Delaware River, hiking the Appalachian Trail, climbing the ‘Gunks, and camping out
under the stars. Other activities include white water rafting, mountain biking,
kayaking, bouldering, and fishing in some of the most beautiful natural areas
to be found in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
All of our treks develop leadership and wilderness
skills while practicing the core values of the YMCA: caring, honesty, respect,
and responsibility. Whether you’re a Mason camper ready for new challenges, or
a new camper ready to climb higher, Camp Mason’s Adventure Bound program is the
place to be.
