Adventure Bound Treks
If you're looking for more than a traditional
camp experience we invite you to join us on an Adventure Bound Trek
. Our treks
leave weekly to explore some of the last great, true wilderness left in the Northeast,
the 70,000-acre Delaware Water Gap. Spend time with other teens testing your
skills, pushing your limits, and exploring exhilarating locations. Canoe the
Delaware River, hike the Appalachian Trail, climb the ‘Gunks, and camp out
under the stars. Other activities include white water rafting, mountain biking,
kayaking, bouldering, and fishing in some of the most beautiful natural areas
to be found in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
All of our treks develop leadership and wilderness
skills while practicing the core values of the YMCA: caring, honesty, respect,
and responsibility. Whether you’re a Mason camper ready for new challenges, or
a new camper ready to climb higher, Camp Mason’s Adventure Bound program is the
place to be.
